Special applications of the company's production portfolio are switchboards for the extraction of raw materials, especially gas and oil.

EKM uses long-term experience with the structural design of switchboards used in the extraction of minerals in specific conditions, e.g. offshore platforms. Requirements for dimensions, instrument filling meeting appropriate certifications, requirements for static or dynamic stress, climatic conditions and environmental influence, fire resistance, internal operating temperature, etc. are taken into account in accordance with the standard EN 60439-1 ed.2:2000 idt IEC 60439-1:1999.

According to requirements, these specific products can be mounted into larger structural units of container substations, the design of which takes into account the requirements given by operation, climatic and local conditions.
